Mrs. Kathy J. New, age 65, beloved wife of Mr. Ronald New, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, July 8th, 2018. In addition to her husband she is survived by her sons, William C. “Billy” Storey (Carmen), Rickey New; daughters, Bridget L. Storey (Bubba), Rhonda Jones (Mark), Brenda Hall; brother, Doley Lamb; sister, Doris Langley; step dad, Jimmy Jones eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son, Brian New; parents, Jesse Lamb & Ailene Hatcher; a very special lady who was like a mother, Cleo “Maw” Boatright and her husband Walter “Pap” Franklin; brother, Eugene Lamb. Mrs. Kathy will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched in the 65 precious years that God gave her on this earth. Today we know that she is with her Jesus. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Friday, July 13th, 2018 at Christian Heritage Church at 2 o'clock pm, with the Rev. Stephen Phillips and Rev. Dewitt Harsey officiating. The interment will be private. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Alzheimer’s Association at 225 N.
