LEACH-Kathy Turner Leach, age 55, of Aiken, S.C., loving wife for 39 years to Gary W. Leach, Jr. and daughter of the late Pope N. Turner, Sr. and the late Virginia Hudson Turner, entered into rest on Saturday, February 13, 2016. In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters, Hope Barrs, Kasi Danielle Leach and Lexus Koral Leach all of Aiken, S.C., sons, Logan Turner Leach of North Augusta, S.C. and Shawn Gary Leach of Aiken, S.C.; a sister, Renee Turner Gregory of Aiken, S.C.; brothers, Pope N. Turner, Jr. and Christopher A. Turner both of Aiken, S.C. and six grandchildren. She was born in and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. She was a retired cosmetologist. She was a very active member of University Parkway Church of God in Aiken, S.C. She was a loving wife, mother, mawmaw, sister and friend. She loved her family and church family with all her heart. Above all, she loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She shall be greatly missed by her family, friends and all whose lives she touched during the 55 precious years that God granted her on this earth. Death is not the end, she has just made that great transition to her new Heavenly home, where all is peace and joy, and no more sad goodbyes are ever spoken in a land of endless tomorrows. “To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord”. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening, February 17th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A service, celebrating her life and home going will be held at University Parkway Church of God in Aiken on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at 3:00 PM with Rev. Henry D. Shaffer officiating. The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Graniteville, S.C. The Pallbearers will be Josh Miller, Jerrett Evans, Michael Gregory, Anthony Turner, Kenneth Leach and Adam Turner.
