Kathleen Adams Stallings

STALLINGS-Ms. Kathleen Adams Stallings, age 84, of Graniteville, S.C., wife for 57 years to the late Everette M. Stallings and daughter of the late Thomas O. Adams and the late Lucille Wilson Adams, entered into eternal rest at her daughter’s residence in Vaucluse, S.C. on Wednesday, January 16, 2013. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Dianne and Roger Morrison of Vaucluse, S.C., a son and daughter-in-law, Leon E. and Angela Stallings of McBee, S.C.; a brother, Thomas Adams, Jr. of Clearwater, S.C.; sisters, Marion Thornburg, Shirley Rutland, Betty Stallings, Frances Barton, Mary Alice Powell and Rachel Parrish; five grandchildren, Angela Bolton, Terry Stallings, Michael Stallings, Jennifer Randall and Karla Morrison; thirteen great grandchildren and two great- great grandchildren. She was born in Aiken County, S.C. and was a lifelong resident of Graniteville, S.C. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Graniteville. She retired from Graniteville Company with 28 years of dedicated service. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She shall be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched during the 84 precious years that God granted her on this earth; however, to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord, and she shall live on forever in the hearts of her family and friends. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Friday evening, January 18th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A service celebrating her life and home going will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. James L. Young officiating. The interment will follow at the Graniteville Cemetery. The pallbearers will be Bobby Hays, Travis Martin, Chris Bryant, Anthony Tran, Wayne Eubanks and Eddie Norris.
