Mrs. Julia Fields Parker, 88, entered into rest on Tuesday December 17, 2024. 

Hold on Daddy, Mama’s coming, she had to stop and smell the roses.

She is preceded in death by her first husband of 26 years, Leonard H. Gilbert; second husband of 19 years, Vernon Parker; parents, Arthur and Ruby Fields; brother, Frank Fields; sister, Margie Lott; and grandson, Kirk Gu’erard.

She is survived by her children, Lee Gilbert, Anna Clements, and Deborah Hutter; brother, Roy (Paulette) Fields; sister, Gertrude Lott; grandchildren, Leonna (Valintino) Harrison, Jonathan (Audrey) Hopkins, Benjamin (Mandi) Hutter, Jerry McDuff, Berry (Karen) McDuff, Paulette McDuff, Mikeal McDuff, Brandi Stockwell, and Lori Gu’erard; greatgrandchildren, William Walter Wallace, Sierra (Judah) Easley, Valintino Harrison Jr., Thomas Nicolas Rowell, Brock Usry, Joey (Kayla) Nash, Michael Tetkoski, Ella Claire McDuff, Waylon Hutter, Samantha McDuff, Parker Kate Hopkins, Raymond Hayes Hopkins, Whitley Dean Hopkins, Caden Beaudoin, McKnzie Sarakinis, and Lilly Stockwell; and great-greatgrandchildren, Kora Beth Nash, Annelise Nash, and Annelise Gersham.

Mrs. Parker was a member of Fellowship of Truth Baptist Church. She loved her church and she loved her God. She was a homemaker, and took pride in the love and care she gave her family through the years. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and gardening. More than anything she loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be remembered for being a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend

The family will receive friends from 1 P.M. to 2 P.M. on Friday December 27, 2024 at Napier Funeral Home & Crematory. A Graveside Service, celebrating her life, will be held at 2 P.M. on Friday December 27, 2024 at The Historic Graniteville Cemetery with Pastor Gregg Turner to officiate. 

Pallbearers will be, Jerry McDuff, Berry McDuff, Benjamin Hutter, Jonathan Hopkins, Valintino Harrison, Michael Tetkoski, Thomas Nicolas Rowell, and Brock Usry.
