Judith "Judy" Marie Baker

Ms. Judith “Judy” Marie Baker, 59, entered into rest on Monday June 19, 2023.

She is preceded in death by her father, James Harry Baker; paternal grandparents, Harry A., and Bessie Baker; and maternal grandparents, Walter, and Jane Ruth Powell.

She is survived by her mother, Elizabeth “Libby” Powell Baker; brother, Ernie Baker; sister, Shannon (Ronnie) Arthur; niece Nikki Arthur; nephew, Nick Arthur; and many adopted nieces and nephews.

Judy retired from Kimberly Clarke after many years of service. She was a fun-loving woman, kind, and sweet. She never met a stranger and loved everyone. She was an avid Atlanta Braves fan. She will be remembered for being a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.

A Funeral Mass, celebrating her life will be held at 11 A.M. on Friday June 23, 2023, at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church. The burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday June 22, 2023, at Napier Funeral Home from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M.

Pallbearers will be Nick Arthur, Ronnie Arthur, Michael Kaney, Penny Kaney, Jamie Corley, and Dale Williams.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations in Judy’s memory be made to the Augusta University Pediatric Cancer Center, 1446 Harper Street Augusta, GA 30912.
