Joyce Owens Fennington

FENNINGTON-Mrs. Joyce Owens Fennington, age 53, of Wagener, S.C., loving wife of David Fennington and daughter of the late William Owens and the late Alma Collins Owens, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 5, 2014. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Brittney and Anthony Gregory of North Augusta, S.C.; a son, Jason LaBoon of Spartanburg, S.C.; a brother, Harold Owens of Wagener, S.C.; two grandchildren, Hunter Fennington and Ryan Gregory. She was born in Easley, S.C. but has been a resident of Aiken County, S.C. for the past thirteen years. She was a devoted wife, homemaker, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, who shall be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched during her lifetime; however, death cannot destroy precious memories, and she shall live on forever in the hearts of her family and love ones. A memorial service, celebrating her life, will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 4:00 PM in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Pastor Manning Strickland officiating. The interment will be private. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
