HARRAH-Joseph A. Harrah, age 63, of Aiken, S.C., loving son of the late Calvin Harrah, Sr. and the late Anna Lee Dheel Harrah, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 11, 2015. He is survived by sisters, Rose Marie Donovan of Montmorenci, S.C., Phyllis Babiak of Aiken, S.C., Brenda Lee Jordan of Warrenville, S.C. and Penny Lynn Johnson of Aiken, S.C.; brothers, Steven Harrah of Aiken, S.C. and Michael Wayne Harrah of Greenwood, S.C.; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Calvin Buford Harrah, Jr. and Eugene Harrah; sisters, Gail Sue Cook and Patricia Ann Harrah. He was born in West Virginia but has been a resident of Aiken County for over 40 years. He was of the Baptist Faith. He started out delivering for Lominick’s Drug Store in Aiken and ended up working as a clerk there for over 30 years. He was a people person with a great personality that accounted for his being loved by all. He shall be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched during the 63 years that God granted him on this earth; however, death cannot destroy precious memories, and he shall live on forever in the hearts of his love ones. A memorial service, celebrating his life, will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at 2:00 PM with Chaplain Dexter Lambert officiating.
