DICKERT–Mr, John J. Dickert, age 49, of North Augusta, S.C., husband of 28 years to the late Patty Ussery Dickert and son of Thomas E. (Wanda) Dickert of Abbeville, S.C. and Barbara Ford Dickert of Aiken, S.C., entered into eternal rest from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on Sunday, November 4, 2012. In addition to his parents, he is survived by daughters; Michelle Foster, Korina Hardy, Kanette (Clifford) Miller and Tiffany Phillips; sons, Donnie Ussery, Jamie Ussery and Calvin Lowman; brothers, James Dickert, Tim (Cindy) Dickert, Thomas Dickert, Richard (Lessa) Dickert and eleven grandchildren. He was born at Ft. Gordon, Georgia but has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. He was employed as a truck driver with Starrett Brothers. He was a member of the “Driven by the Spirit Motorcycle Ministry†at the Community Church of the Nazarene in Bath, S. C. He was also a member of ABATE. He was a loving son, father, brother and grandfather who shall be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched during the 49 precious years that God granted him on this earth; however, he shall live on forever in his family and loved ones hearts. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at 4:00 PM at the Church of the Nazarene in Bath, S.C. with Pastor Wayne Cheselka officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. A memorial ride will follow the service. Memorials, in his honor, may be made to the funeral home to help offset the funeral expense.
