John E. Anderson

May 12, 1946 — January 13, 2021

Mr. John E. Anderson, age 74, beloved husband of 49 years to Mrs. Sue Anderson, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday January 13, 2021.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his brothers, Charles and William Anderson; sisters, Brenda Collins, Janice Branham-Garner, Ann Knight, Gloria Anderson; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews and one great-great-great niece.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John L. and Margaret E. Anderson; and brother, Cecil Anderson.

Mr. Anderson was a faithful member of the Warrenville Revival Center for 30 years, where he served as a Sunday School teacher and a Deacon. He was a CPR Instructor, a member of the American Legion Post 153 and a Commander of DAV District 8 Aiken Chapter 43. Mr. Anderson proudly served his country in the United States Army where he fought with the 82nd Airborne. Division of Fort Bragg in Vietnam. He will be missed by all who knew him.

A memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Sunday January 17, 2021 at 10:30am at Warrenville Revival Center with Pastor Leroy Beard and Rev. Charlie Kelley. The memorial service will be in place of the regular Sunday morning worship service.

Due to the extraordinary circumstances surrounding the current pandemic, social distancing guidelines and masks will be encouraged for the visitation and funeral service.
