Joenette Hadden Wise

WISE- Joenette Hadden Wise, age 83, of Graniteville, S.C., loving wife of 62 years to John Wise and daughter of the late John H. Hadden and the late Myrtle L. Hadden, entered into rest on Friday, March 4, 2016. In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters, Carol and her husband Timothy Taylor of Graniteville, S.C. and Connie and her husband Mark Nixon of Aiken, S.C.; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was born in Avera, Ga. She was a former Office Manager and Bookkeeper at Warrenville Water District for 32 years. She was a member of Graniteville First Baptist Church; former church Secretary for 11 years; WMU Director for 16 years; Leader of Missions Friends, G.A.’s and Acteens; and a member of Jewel Gregg Sunday School Class She loved her Lord, her family and her church, where she really enjoyed singing in the Choir. The family would like to extend a heartfelt “thank you” to Forest View Manor Assisted Living and to all the caregivers who took such good care of her while she was there. The funeral service will be held at the Graniteville First Baptist Church in Graniteville, S.C. on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at 3:00 PM with Pastor L. Todd Sessions officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. The burial will be at the Graniteville Cemetery. The Pallbearers will be Kevin Blackwell, Larry Harris, Steve White, Buddy Friday, Charles Hilton, Ken Harris and Nick O’Berry.
