LANE-Mr. Jerry J. Lane, Jr., age 45, of Aiken, S.C., loving son of Jerry J. Lane, Sr. and Cathy (Monty) Murrell, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 3, 2015. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandparents, Luke and Adine Corley; a sister, Brandi (Rick) Davis; stepsisters, Gwen (Jimmy) Reese and Lisa (Ted) Busbee; stepbrother, Larry (Michelle) Murrell; a nephew, Michael (Lauren) Valenzuela, Jr.; great nephews, Leelan Valenzuela and Caleb Busbee; like a brother friend, Stephen (Jennifer) Riggs; a very special friend, Teresa Masters; several aunts and uncles. He was born in Ft. Benning, Ga. but has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. He attended Bible Faith Holiness Church in Aiken, S.C. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend, who shall be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched during his short lifespan on this earth. He has finished life’s journey and is now at peace with his Maker, the Lord Jesus Christ. He has made that great transition to his new Heavenly home where no sad goodbyes are ever spoken and all is joy and peace in that land. A memorial service, celebrating his life and home going, will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Eddie Moyer, Rev. Paul Jury and Speaker Lee Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Tuesday evening, January 6t h from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. The family wishes to extend a “Special Thank You†to Hospice Care of S. C. and the Critical Care Team and also to Jerry’s Angel, Janice Britt for the wonderful care that they gave to their love one during his illness. Memorials may be made to Hospice Care of S.
