Jeannie R. Conaway Hicks, age 65, of Warrenville, S.C., loving wife for 44 years to Richard Hicks and daughter of the late John Conaway and the late Lucille Chambley Conaway, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 22, 2018. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Erica Wise; a son, Eric Hadden; sisters, Sandra (Charlie) Kelley, Sue Perkins, Saundra (Tony Lewis) and Cindy Lewis; brothers, Rufus (Joanne) Conaway and Ronnie (Edith) Conaway; three grandchildren, Shelby Hadden, John Hadden and Cayla Wise; three great grandchildren, Serenity Scott, Saige Scott and Brantley Lowe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Anthony Wise. She attended Warrenville Revival Center. She was a loving Housewife, Mother, Nana (as she was so fondly known by her grandchildren), sister and friend. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren, with all her heart and they likewise loved her. She shall be greatly missed by her family, friends and all whose lives she touched during the 65 years that God granted her on this earth. Death is not the end for her, as she has just made that great transition to her new Heavenly home where all is joy and peace, and no sad goodbyes are ever spoken. A memorial service, celebrating her life and homegoing, will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home at 3:00 PM on Friday, December 28, 2018 with Rev. Charlie Kelley officiating. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Assoc., 1817 Gadsden St., Columbia, S.C. 29201. Napier Funeral Home, Inc., 315 Main St., Graniteville, S.C. is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
