SZASZ-Ms. Jean Rearden Sanders Szasz, age 80, of Aiken, S.C., daughter of the late Reginald P. Rearden, Sr. and the late Maggie Lee Reece Rearden, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 28, 2011. She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Dianne and Norris Moseley, Esther and Ed Smith both of Aiken, S.C.; sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel and Ann Sanders of Aiken, S.C. and Thomas and Vickie Sanders of Las Vegas, Nevada; sisters, Margie Bush of Graniteville, S.C., Miriam Summer and Myrtle Clark both of Aiken, S.C., seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a son, Steve Sanders. She was born in and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. She attended South Aiken Church of God. She was a loving mother, sister and grandmother. She never met a stranger and always had a smile for everyone she met, which yielded her many friends. She had the distinquished honor of being the first licensed lady barber in S.C. Yes, Jean was truly a kind and gentle “Southern Ladyâ€, who shall be greatly missed by her family and friends; however, life for her has not ended; just only begun in a land where none can compare and life and love never ends. She will live on in the hearts of her loved ones here; and she will now be with her loved ones who have gone on before her, especially her dear son Steve, who she loved very much. A service celebrating her life will be held on Friday, July 1, 2011 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Rev. Bruce Fox officiating. The interment will follow at Aiken Memorial Park. The pallbearers will be Darin Moseley, Jim Sanders, Mark Clark, Chuck Rearden, Keith Bradberry and Butch Storey.
