Jean Randall Minaya

Mrs. Jean Randall Minaya, age 86, beloved wife of 42 years to the late Anthony M. Minaya, entered into rest on Monday January 20, 2025 at her home in Graniteville.

She is survived by her children, Sherry (Todd) Hendrix, Scotty (Suzanne) Carpenter; grandchildren, Rachael (Brice) Proctor, Rebekah (Jordan) Smaracko; great grandchildren, Maddox Proctor, Silas Smaracko; and sisters, Dolly Ann (James) Splawn, Becky (Fred) Bouye.

In addition to her husband she is preceded in death by her parents, Dollie E. and Ruby Moore Randall; and sister, Mina Jo Farmer.

Mrs. Minaya was a faithful Christian who enjoyed reading her Bible daily. In her earlier years, she and her husband loved to travel. She was a member of the Warrenville First Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. In recent years she enjoyed watching "Dancing with the Stars" and "The Voice". She will be deeply missed by her family and all whose lives she touched.

A funeral service honoring her life will be held on Saturday January 25, 2025 at 2pm in the chapel of Napier Funeral Home & Crematory with Dr. Walter Pym officiating. The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. 

Pallbearers will be: Al Norris, Brandon Williamson, Francis Bauer, Frankie Bauer, Dean Gaskins and Luke Preissler. Honorary Pallbearers will be: The Christian Disciples Sunday School Class of Warrenville First Baptist Church.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Victoria Robinson, who served as Mrs. Minaya's caregiver. They would also like to thank all of the caregivers who have helped during the time Mrs. Minaya needed care. The family would also like to extend a thank you to special family friend, Jenny Lynn Williams, for all that she has done for Mrs. Minaya.
