YOUNG-James Terry Young, age 64, of Graniteville, S.C., loving husband for 43 years to Mary Wisner Young and son of the late Norris R. Young and the late Earlene Renew Young, entered into eternal rest on the Lord’s Day, Sunday, May 1, 2016. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Cindy (Lish) Boyd of Aiken, S.C.; a brother, Ronnie (Susan) Young of Clearwater, S.C.; a sister, Patricia Boyd of Warrenville, S.C.; a granddaughter, Brittany (DaKota) Hawkins; grandsons, Timothy Key and Dalton Boyd; a great granddaughter, Shelby Hawkins. He was born in and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. He was a mechanic by trade having worked for G. L. Williams Trucking Co. He attended Sweetwater Church of God. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend. He loved his family with all his heart, especially his grandchildren. He shall be greatly missed by his family and friends; however, death is not the end, as he has just made that great transition to his new Heavenly home in a place of no sad goodbyes in a land of endless tomorrows. Earth’s loss, is truly Heaven’s gain. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Tuesday evening, May 3rd from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A service, celebrating his life and home going, will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at 3:00 PM with Rev. Phillip Napier officiating. The interment will follow at the Graniteville Cemetery. The Pallbearers will be Martin Sawyer, Richard Durden, Robert Clemens, Fred Pollock, Harold Cain and Acee Kaney.
