James Jefferys Jackson entered into rest Monday June 7, 2021 in Aiken, SC. A graveside service, beside his parents, will be held Friday June 11, 2021 11 A.M. at Allison Creek Presbyterian Church, York, SC.
Jim was born May 15, 1935 in York County. He was the son of the late David M. and France Hogue Jackson and had lived in Aiken since 2010.
He graduated from Rock Hill High School and retired from Sawyer’s Cleaners where he worked for over forty years. He was a charter member of Second Baptist Church and worked with the construction of the building. He was a faithful member of the church until his move to Aiken.
Jim is survived by a sister, Rebecca J. Roberson, of Aiken and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by sisters Mary J. McKee and Bettie J. Westerlund and a brother, Donald M. Jackson.
His family has suggested memorials to the charity of your choice.
