JAMES J. C. HUTTO

December 31, 1969 — April 15, 2011

HUTTO- Mr. James C. (J. C.) Hutto, age 72 of Graniteville, S.C., beloved husband of Barbara Jean Wood Hutto and son of the late Colie Blease Hutto and the late Pauline Pryor Hutto entered into eternal rest on Friday, April 15, 2011. In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons and their spouses; James C. Hutto, Jr., Kenneth L. (Sharilyn) Hutto, Robert E. (Debbie) Hutto and Russell D. Hutto; brothers and their spouses, Wayne (Linda) Hutto, Cecil (Bonnie) Hutto and Edward Hutto; sisters and their spouses, Marvel (Benny) Abney, Doris (Marvin) Wheeler, Beatrice Whitley and Frances (Ronnie) Jordan; five grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was born in and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. He was a US Navy Veteran. He was a retired machinist with J. M. Huber Corp. He was a dedicated member of Pine Forest Baptist Church in Langley, S.C. He was a loving husband, Dad and grandfather, who always greeted everyone with a friendly smile. He shall be greatly missed by his family, many friends and all whose lives he touched during the 72 years that God granted him on this earth; however, life for J. C., as he was so fondly known by his family and friends, has not ended; he has just made that great transition to his Heavenly home where life and love never ends. Yes, to be absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord, and he has just gone to receive his “Crown of Life”, which is the gift from God for all who believe on Him. A service celebrating his life will be held at Pine Forest Baptist Church on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at 3:00 PM with Pastor Ron Doss officiating. The interment will follow at the Graniteville Cemetery. The Pallbearers will be Bubba Toole, Mike Johnson, Ross Toole, Richard Swearingen, Chuck Renew and Torre Parker. Honorary pallbearers will be Donald Morrison, Don Morrison, Christopher Byars, Bobby Clark, members of his Sunday School Class and Junior Deacons. Friends may call at the residence or at the funeral home, Tuesday evening, April 19th from 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Memorial contributions, in Mr. Hutto’s honor, may be made to Pine Forest Baptist Church, P. O. Box 97, Langley, S. C. 29834. Mr. Hutto will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Napier Funeral Home, 315 Main St., Graniteville, S.
