Jack Cecil Mundy

MUNDY –Mr. Jack Cecil Mundy, age 81, of Graniteville, S.C., son of the late Owen A. “OA” Mundy and the late Katie Irene Green Mundy, entered into rest on Tuesday, November 27, 2012. He is survived by sons, Wayne (Barbara) Mundy of LaBelle, Florida and John (Kay) Mundy of Graniteville, S.C.; brothers, Bruce Mundy of Washington, DC and Harold “Red” Mundy of Graniteville, S. C., many grandchildren and many great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Billy Mundy and five brothers. He was born in Graniteville, S.C. and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. During his working years, he worked for Daniel Construction Company. He was an avid fisherman. He was a loving dad, brother, grandfather and friend to all. He was always willing to lend a helping hand or pull a playful prank. Yes, he shall be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched during his 81 precious years here on earth; however, he shall live on forever in the hearts of his many friends and loved ones. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, December 1st at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Rev. Gene Wilson officiating.
