Henry A. Godwin

GODWIN-Henry A. Godwin, age 68, of Aiken, S.C., loving husband for 30 years to Frances Rollins Godwin and son of Ethel Jackson Roberts and the late Clifton Godwin, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, December 20, 2015. In addition to is wife and mother, he is survived by sons, Marty (Christina) Cooper of Aiken, S.C. and Jeff (Cathy) Cooper of Edgefield, S.C.; a sister, Sandy McCullum.; a brother, Roger Godwin both of Aiken, S.C. and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Cathy Faulkner. He was a Pipefitter by trade and a member of Tradesman International. He was a loving husband, father, stepfather, grandfather, brother and friend. He shall be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched during the 68 years that God granted him on this earth. Death cannot destroy precious memories, and he shall live on forever in the lives of his loved ones. A service, celebrating his life, will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Clint D. Jackson officiating. The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The Pallbearers will be Marty Cooper, Jeff Cooper and Mark Meeks.
