Helen Markel Magee

Magee-Mrs. Helen Markel Magee, age 31, of Aiken, S. C., beloved wife of Phillip E. Magee, Jr. and daughter of Robert Markel, Jr. of New York and Sandra Gorden Wright of Aiken, entered in rest on Saturday, July 23, 2011. In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her stepfather, Danny Wright of Aiken and stepmother, Maria Markel of New York; daughters, Breanna Markel and Abby Magee both of Aiken; a son, Dakota Magee of Aiken; a sister, Natalie Gorczyca of NY; brothers, Robbie Markel of Jackson, Jeramy Markel of Warrenville, Jason Williams of New York, Randy, Danny and Andy Wright all of Aiken; maternal grandmother, Rev. Carrie Gorden of Warrenville; paternal grandparents, Robert Markel, Sr., Vera Barker and Rita Brkljac all of New York and a great grandmother, Louellin Key of Aiken. She was born in Augusta, Ga. but has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all whose lives she touched during the 31 years that God granted her on this earth; however, fond memories of her shall live on forever in their hearts. A service celebrating her life will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Rev. Ashley Hawkins and Rev. Jeffery Taylor officiating. The interment will follow at the Warrenville Cemetery in Warrenville, S.C. The pallbearers will be Robbie Markel, Anthony Carlisle, Phillip E. Magee, Jr., Randy Wright, Jason Morrison and Mikey Sutton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this evening, Monday, July 25th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
