WILLIAMS-Entered into eternal rest on Sunday, November 21, 2010, Mr. Haywood R. Williams, age 74 of Graniteville, S.C., loving husband of Catherine Taylor Williams and son of Mary Reynolds Williams and the late Nimie Williams. In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Steve Garnto of Warrenville, S.C.; a son and daughter-in-law, Chance and Barbara Williams of Hogenville, Georgia; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lillian and Jess Edwards, Juanita and Leroy Johnson, Lynda and Weldon Taylor; a brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Doris Williams all of Mt. Airy, N. C.; five grandchildren; stepchildren and their spouses, Charles and Sheryl Gregory of Graniteville, S.C., Jerry Gregory of Gloverville, S.C., Linda and Pat Barbee of Savannah, Ga. and Dean Gregory of Beech Island, S.C.; several step-grandchildren and several step-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Stuart Williams He was born in Mt. Airy, N. C. but has been a resident of Aiken County, S.C. for the past 42 years. He was a retired lineman with Floyd Pike Electrical Company. He was a member of the Warrenville Revival Center in Warrenville, S.C. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He was a real family man, who next to God, always putting his family first in his life. Needless to say, he shall be greatly missed by his family, friends and all whose lives he touched during the 74 years that God granted him on this earth; however, to be absent from the body is to be present with God; and life for him has not ended, just only begun in a better land. He has gone to receive his “Crown of Lifeâ€; a gift that God has promised for each of his children. A celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the Warrenville Revival Center with Rev. Leroy Beard officiating. The entombment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens in Graniteville. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at Napier Funeral Home tonight, Tuesday, November 23rd from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Memorials may be made to the Warrenville Revival Center, P.0. Box 452, Warrenville, S.C. 29851. Mr. Williams will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
