Harold Thomas Storey

STOREY-Mr. Harold Thomas Storey, age 76, of Trenton, S. C., loving husband for 57 years to Lois Edna Storey, and son of the late Clarence Storey and the late Lillie Mae Couch Storey, entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 11, 2012. In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters; Beverly (Frank) Bledsoe and Tonya (Paul) Fulmer both of Aiken, S.C.; sisters, Nellie “Kathy” Baughman of Batesburg, S.C. and Mary Elizabeth Couch of Ladson, S.C.; brothers, Vernon R. Storey, William E. “Billy” Storey both of Trenton, S.C. and Jessie C. “Buddy” Storey of Beech Island, S.C.; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra Ann Storey; two brothers, Raymond L. Storey and Albert Storey. He was born in Saluda County but has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County. He was a member of Phillippi Baptist Church in Johnston, S.C. He was a past Fire Chief of the Eureka Fire Department. He loved sports, which most definitely included fishing, the Clemson Tigers and, of course, the Atlanta Braves. He shall be greatly missed by his family and many friends; however, life for him has not ended, just only begun in his new Heavenly home with no more pain nor sorrow. He shall live on forever in everyone’s hearts. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, June 14, 2012 from 3:00 PM until the hour of service. The service celebrating his life and homegoing will be held following the visitation at 5:00 PM in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Rev. John Huff officiating. The interment will follow at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery in Aiken, S.C. The Pallbearers will be Kenneth Bledsoe, Jr., Timothy Bledsoe, Randy Bledsoe, Joshua Bledsoe, Eddie Cook and Tracey Wood. The Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Eureka Fire Department. Memorials, in Mr. Storey’s honor, may be made to the Alzeheimer’s Association, 3223 Sunset Blvd., Suite 100, West Columbia, S.C. 29169 or to the Wounded Warrior Project, Inc., 4899 Belfort Rd., Suite 30, Jacksonville, Florida 32256.
