Harold I "Yip" Robinson

ROBINSON- Harold I. “Yip” Robinson passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 14th, at Aiken Regional Hospital after an extended illness. His wife, Marian, was at his side. Yip was an avid racing fan and drove sprint, modified and stock at raceways throughout Northwestern, PA including Mercer Raceway Park and Lernerville Speedway. He received the “Living Legend” award in 2007 at Mercer Raceway park in Mercer, PA. Yip was a permanent “visitor” at St. John’s United Methodist Church and has lived in Aiken with his wife for the past twenty years. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 25th, at 1:00 PM at St. John’s United Methodist Church in Aiken with Dr. George Howle officiating. A final Memorial Service will be held in Mercer, PA at Mercer Raceway Park later this year. Napier Funeral Home, 315 Main Street, Graniteville, S.C. 29829 is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
