Harold J McIntosh

McIntosh-Mr. Harold J. McIntosh, age 62, of Beech Island, S.C., loving husband for 23 years to Janet Anderson McIntosh, and son of the late James McIntosh and the late Margaret Cyra McIntosh, answered God’s call and went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Friday, January 3, 2014. In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, Steven McIntosh of Aiken, S.C. and Daniel McIntosh of Beech Island, S.C.; brothers, Kenny, Alex, Bobby, Steven, James, Michael, Kevin and Francis McIntosh and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Noah McIntosh and a sister, Gail McIntosh. He was born in Maine but has been a resident of Aiken County for over 40 years. He was a member of Bath Pentecostal Holiness Church. He was a loving husband, father, brother, friend and grandfather, and he was definitely a people person, because he never met a stranger. He shall be greatly missed by his family and all whose lives he touched during the 62 precious years that God granted him on this earth; however, life for him has not ended as God has promised eternal life for all who believe and trust in Him. Harold has just made that great transition to his new Heavenly home where all is joy and peace, and no sad goodbyes are ever spoken. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Tuesday evening, January 7th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A service, celebrating his life, and home going will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at 3:00 PM with Rev. Bill Branch officiating. The interment will follow at the Warrenville Cemetery. The pallbearers will be Elroy Crawford, Robert Key, Michael Key, Michael Anderson, Randy Atnipp and Terry Lowe.
