Glendora "Sally" Free Lowe

LOWE-Mrs. Glendora “Sally” Free Lowe, age 75, of Gloverville, S.C., loving wife for 59 precious years to Furman Lowe and daughter of the late Willie B. and Fronia Free, entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 28, 2013. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Janet (Kenneth) Johnson; a son Ricky (Pennie) Lowe; a sister, Retta Anderson; brothers, Daniel (Hazel) Free, Billy (Gloria) Free; grandchildren, Melissa Allgood, Natasha Baker, Brandi Ingle and Travis Lowe; great-grandchildren, Ansley Allgood, Christopher Allgood and Liam Ingle. She was preceded in death by her foster parents, Pink and Lillie Williams; a grandchild, Kevin Johnson; brothers, Lee Creighton “Coot” Free, J. E. Free and a sister, Marie Mitchum. She was born in and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. She was a member of Bath Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend who shall be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched during the 75 precious years that God granted her on this earth; however, death is not the end, as God has promised eternal life for all who believe in Him. She has finished her journey and has now made that great transition to her new Heavenly home, where there is no more pain or sorrow, and no more sad goodbyes are ever spoken. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this evening, Tuesday, October 29th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A service celebrating her life and home going will be held at the Bath Pentecostal Holiness Church on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Bill Branch officiating. The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Graniteville. The Pallbearers will be Ricky Baker, Mark Ingle, Shawn Anderson, Danny Anderson, Jackie Mitchum and Danny Mitchum.
