Gertrude Shealy Riley

RILEY-Mrs. Gertrude Shealy Riley, age 89, of Aiken, S.C.. wife of the late George I. Riley and daughter of the late Alvin G. Shealy and the late Minnie Lybrand Shealy, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, March 16, 2013. She is survived by daughters; Geneva R. Greene of Langley, S.C. and Georgia R. Lewis of Jackson, S.C.; sons, Gerald Riley of Graniteville, S.C. and Gene Riley of Aiken, S.C.; a sister, Novie Yaun of Graniteville, S.C.; a sister-in-law, Evelyn Shealy of Leesville, S.C.; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren She was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Shealy. She was born in Leesville, S.C. but has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County. She was a retired seamstress having worked for various companies, and she was of the Lutheran faith. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Tuesday evening, March 19th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A graveside service will be held at the Graniteville Cemetery on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at 1:00 PM with Rev.Wesley Greene officiating.
