REDMOND- Mr. George C. Redmond passed away recently after a long battle with COPD. George served in the U. S. Air Force and the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict and Vietnam war. During the Vietnam war, George was decorated with the Bronze Star for Valor. He was buried in Beaufort National Cemetery with full military honors (Section C2, Number 194). George was a member of the Masonic Lodge, the Jamil Shrine Temple and the VFW Post 10601. He leaves behind many of his colleagues. The family wishes to thank George’s very close friend, Mr. Jack Holton, for his unwavering friendship and many acts of kindness and consideration he provided for George during his confinement years.
