George Edwin (Eddie) Cook

Aiken – Mr. George Edwin (Eddie) Cook passed away peacefully early Saturday, September 1st, 2018 after a short illness at a local hospital. He was 83 years old, a former Naval Petty Officer, a retired security officer, a loving husband and family man. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jackie Barrett Cook, his parents Lou and Florence Quan, and his sister Diane Quan Riley. He is survived by three sons, Harold Lee Young (Gail), Drew Edwin Cook and David Michael Cook (Becky). He left behind seven grandchildren, Wesley Young, Chris Young (Heather), Jessica Young McMahan (Danny), Josh Logan (Cassie) Ian Cook, Jordan Cook Anderson (Scott) and Cullan Edwin Cook. Other surviving family includes six great grandchildren, his aunt Gladys Diver L. McFeely, two nephews, many cousins and his dog “MoJo”. A graveside memorial service will be held on Friday, September 14th, 2018 at 12 o’clock noon, at the Historic Graniteville Cemetery with the Rev. Darlene Kelly officiating.
