Frank H. Hancock

HANCOCK-Entered into rest Friday, February 4, 2011, Mr. Frank H. Hancock, Jr., age 84 of Aiken, S. C., husband of the late Carolyn Holley Hancock and son of the late Frank H. Hancock, Sr. and the late Myrtis Turner Hancock. He is survived by sons, Wallace F. Hancock of Prosperity, S. C. and Herman A. Hancock of Aiken, S.C.; a brother, Marvin Hancock of Aiken, S.C. and a sister, Josie Bell H. Salters of Aiken, S.C.; four grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. He was born in Vaucluse, S.C. and has been a lifetime resident of Aiken County. He was retired from Graniteville Company. He was a World War II Army Veteran. He enjoyed fishing and working with crafts; if you could name it, he could make it. He was a good father, grandfather, brother and friend to many. He shall be greatly missed by his family, many friends and all whose lives he touched during the 84 years that God granted him on this earth; however, life does not end at death, but only begins in a better land for God’s children. A service celebrating his life will be held on Monday, February 7, 2011 at 4:00 PM in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Rev. J. B. Redd officiating. The interment will follow at the Vaucluse Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Sunday evening, February 6th, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM.
