Frances Prickett Odom

ODOM-Mrs. Frances Prickett Odom, age 70, of Aiken, S.C., beloved wife of Donnie B.Odom and daughter of the late Ned Prickett and the late Nettie Anderson Prickett, entered into eternal rest on Monday, March 3, 2014. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Donnie B. Odom, Jr.; daughters, Sharon (Russ) Lewis and Tonya (Chuck) Rearden all of Aiken, S.C.; a sister, Sherry Jean Wilcher of Grovetown, Ga.; six grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. She was born in Augusta, Ga. but has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. She was a loving wife, homemaker, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend. She loved pretty flowers and was an avid Southern Gospel Music fan. The family stated that on one occasion, they took her to see the Gaithers, who were one of her favorite Southern Gospel groups. She shall be greatly missed by her family and many friends; however, death is not the end, as God has promised eternal life for all who believe and trust in Him. She has just made that great transition to her new Heavenly Home, where she is probably enjoying beautiful music and singing Southern Gospel Songs. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, March 6, 2014 from 2:00 PM until the hour of service, which will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home at 3:00 PM with Rev. John Arthur officiating. The interment will follow at the Graniteville Cemetery. The Pallbearers will be Christopher Couvillon,, Reggie Rearden, Lee Wilcher, Fred Orozco Ronald Odom and Corey Couvillon. Her great grandchildren will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
