BUSSELL-Ms. Flora Mae Herrin Bussell, age 89, of Graniteville, S.C., wife of the late James William Bussell and daughter of the late James W. Herrin and the late Carrie Davis Herrin, entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 17, 2011. She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas and Myra L. Bussell of Warrenville, S. C., Joseph D. and Sue Bussell of Mt. Home, Idaho; a daughter-in-law, Patti Bussell of North Augusta, S.C.; sisters, Frances Koon and Elsie McGee, both of Warrenville, S.C.; ten grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, James Robert Bussell. She was born in Edgefield, S.C. but has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. She retired from Graniteville Company, Hickman Division, after 32 years of service. She was a member of Sweetwater Baptist Church. She was a good, caring mom, who next to God, always put her boys first in her life. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends, but there is a consolation in knowing that life for a christian does not end with death, as the gift of God is eternal life in a better land with no more pain or sorrow. A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Napier officiating. The interment will follow at the Graniteville Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening, June 20th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Memorials, in Ms. Bussell’s honor, may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Napier Funeral Home, 315 Main St., Graniteville, S.C. 29829 is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
