Fay Barrett Lewis

LEWIS-Ms. Fay Barrett Lewis, age 79, of Aiken, S. C., wife of the late George Edward Lewis and daughter of the late Dewey Lee Barrett and the late Nellie Adkins Barrett, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, July 21, 2011. She is survived by daughters, Teresa Kissiah and Sharon Lewis, both of Aiken and Melinda Hartshaw of Graniteville; a sister, Reginia Bratcher of Langley; brothers, Rufus Barrett of Langley and Fred Barrett of Burnettown; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was born in Madison County, Huntsville, Alabama but has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. She was retired from Asco in Aiken. She was a member of Aiken Church of Christ. She was a loving mother, sister and grandmother. She shall be greatly missed by her family, friends and all whose lives she touched. A service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at 2:30 PM at Aiken Church of Christ with Minister Brian McCutchen officiating. The interment will follow at the Langley Cemetery in Langley, S.C. The pallbearers will be Matthew Tinsley, James Britt, Shane Barrett, Roland Tinsley, Eugene Tinsley and Richard Barrett. The family will receive friends at the church this Friday evening, July 22nd from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
