Evelyn Stone Wallace

WALLACE-Ms. Evelyn Stone Wallace, age 85, of Belvedere, S. C., wife of the late John J. Wallace and daughter of the late William “Bill” Stone and the late Georgia Barton Stone, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, June 7, 2012. She is survived by daughters, Frances W. Swindell of North Augusta, S.C. and Beverly A. Smith of Beech Island, S.C.; sons, William J. Wallace of Ohio and John Daniel
Wallace of Virginia; sisters, Eltis Copeland of Batesburg-Leesville and Jewel K. Stoddard of Chevy Chase, Maryland.; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was born in Graniteville, S. C. and has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. During her working career, she was a secretary for Bush’s Florist in North Augusta. She was of the Roman Catholic Faith. She was a loving mother, sister and grandmother. She shall be greatly missed by her family, friends and all whose lives she touched during the 85 precious years that God granted her on this earth; however, fond memories of her shall live on forever in everyone’s hearts. In keeping with her request, she will be cremated, and a private service will be held.
