Evelyn Donette Corbett Deans

DEANS-Mrs. Evelyn Donette Corbett Deans, age 70, of Warrenville, S.C., loving wife for 44 years to Jimmie C. Deans and daughter of the late Bertis R. Corbett and the late Evelyn Busbee Corbett answered God’s call and went to be with Jesus on Tuesday, April 22, 2014. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Vadra Deans Williams of Warrenville, S.C.; sisters, Patsy C. Stephens of Burnettown, S.C., and Rhonda C. Felder of Florida; a brother, William E. Corbett of Gloverville, S.C. and a granddaughter, Keely L. Jordan. She was preceded in death by a son, Jimmie C. Deans, II and a brother, Freddie Corbett. She was born in and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. She retired from Smith-Kline Beecham in Aiken. She loved pretty flowers. She was the Associate Pastor of Words of Life Ministry in Langley, S.C. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, friend and a good Christian lady who loved her Lord and family supremely. She also loved her many friends especially Ruth, Hazel and Barbara Ann, who she enjoyed going out to eat with. She shall be greatly missed by her family, friends and all whose lives she touched during the 70 precious years that God granted her on this earth; however she has finished her journey and is now at peace with her Maker. Earth’s loss is truly Heaven’s gain. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Friday evening, April 25th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A service celebrating her life will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home, Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Don A. Stephens officiating. The interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Langley, S.C. Napier Funeral Home, Inc., 315 Main St., Graniteville, S.C. 29829 is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
