Evelyn Hair Davis

DAVIS– Ms. Evelyn Hair Davis, age 72, resident of Clearwater, S. C. for many years and daughter of late Everette C. Hair and the late Christine Anderson Hair, entered into eternal rest on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2012. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Amy and David Brooks of North Augusta, S.C..; sons and daughters-in-law, William Roger and Lori Davis of Augusta, Ga., Andy Davis of Clearwater, S.C., Tony and Jodie Davis of Augusta, Ga.; a sister and brother-in-law, Anne and Ronnie Collins of Aiken, S.C.; grandchildren, Danielle Brooks, Zack Brooks, Taylor Davis, Lauren Davis and Nick Carver. She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Hewitt; a grandson, Ron Hewitt and a brother, Cleveland Hair. She was born in and was a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. She was a retired cashier with Jerry’s convenience store. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Friday evening, December 28th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Mark Canipe officiating. The interment will follow at the Graniteville Cemetery. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
