EVA MAE GLOVER

GLOVER- Entered into eternal rest on Thursday, September 9, 2010, Mrs. Eva Mae Wilson Glover, age 94 of Graniteville, S. C., wife of the late Robert Glover, Sr. and daughter of the late Owen P. Wilson, Sr. and the late Ila Williams Wilson. She is survived by a son, Bobby Glover of Graniteville; a daughter and son-in-law, Mickey and John Abney of Trenton; a brother and sister-in-law, Rev. Gene O’Neil and Angie Wilson of Graniteville; a sister, Mary Mobley of Graniteville; a special granddaughter, who she raised like a daughter, Rhonda Kay Powell and her husband, Chuck of Jacksonvile, Florida, twelve grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, seventeen great-great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Pete Glover. She was born in Allendale, S.C. but has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S. C. She was a dedicated member of the Graniteville Church of God. She really loved her Lord, family and church. She will be greatly missed by the many lives she touched along the way; however, God granted her a long life on this earth; now she has made her transition to her eternal home to be with her Lord and Savior, who she has so faithfully served during her lifetime. Yes, earth’s loss is definitely Heaven’s gain because she was a good Godly lady. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, September 12, 2010 at 3:00 PM at the Vaucluse Cemetery in Vaucluse, S.C. with Rev. W. H. Bryant and Rev. Randy Wilson officiating. The pallbearers will be Tommy Marchant, Howell Marchant, Cole Abney, Jesse Boyd, Grant Smith, Shannon Mitchum and Chip Pryor. The funeral procession will be leaving the funeral home to go to the cemetery for the service at 2:45 PM. The family will receive friends at Napier Funeral Home tonight, Saturday, September 11th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorials be made to the Graniteville Church of God, 276 Hillview Dr., Graniteville, S.C. 29829. Napier Funeral Home, 315 Main St., Graniteville, S.
