Eugene Harold Wilson

Mr. Eugene Harold Wilson, 89, entered into rest surrounded by his family on Sunday November 26, 2023.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years, Barbara Wilson; parents Eugene Haskell Wilson, and Mildred Ellen Hancock; and brother, Eddie Wilson, and Tommie Wilson.

He is survived by his sons, Lester (Kim) Wilson, Phillip (Krystal) Wilson; daughters, Norma Cooper, Debbie (Henry) Harnage, Diane Sturkie, April (Joey) Walton; brothers, Carl Wilson, Hugh Wilson; 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren; and a beloved dog, Sally.

Eugene was born in Aiken, S.C. and was a member of Pine Forest Baptist Church. He loved to work and he retired as a Pipe Fitter from the Local 150 Union. He was an HVAC Technician his whole life. He was a humble, kind and giving man. He loved people, and he never met a stranger. More than anything he loved his family. He will be remembered for being a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, great-great grandfather, and friend.

A Funeral Service, celebrating his life, will be held at 11 A.M. on Thursday November 30, 2023 at Pine Forest Baptist Church, 2829 Pine Log Rd, Warrenville, SC 29851, with Rev. Lance Thomas to officiate. The burial will follow immediately at The Historic Graniteville Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Napier Funeral Home & Crematory.

Pallbearers will be Michael Wilson, Jeremy Barton, Sailor Glover, Trey Ingle, Rory Beckley, and Dale Cooper.
