WATKINS-Mr. Emmett E. Watkins, age 35, of Windsor, S.C., loving husband for fourteen years to Jacqueline Graham Watkins and son of Cynthia W. Phillips, stepfather, Richard Phillips of Orangeburg, S.C. and the late Emmett H. Watkins, entered into rest on Saturday, February 14, 2015. In addition to his wife, mother and stepfather, he is survived by daughters, Christy and Misty Watkins both of Windsor, S.C. and Angelina Watkins of Edgefield, S.C.; sons, Emmett H. Watkins, Jr. and Gabriel Watkins both of Windsor, S.C., Timothy E. Watkins and Michael P. Watkins both of Edgefield, S.C.; a sister, Misty George of Aiken, S.C.; brothers, Daniel Watkins of Graniteville, S.C. and Bradley Watkins of Orangeburg, S.C. He was born in Augusta, Ga. but has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. He had worked as a tire repairman for Jim Whitehead Tire Service. He was an avid fisherman, and next to fishing, he really enjoyed working on vehicles. According to his family, he was an all around family man who really loved his wife, children and family with all of his heart. They further stated that he had a big heart of gold and would help anybody who needed his help. He will surely be missed by his family and all whose lives he touched during his short lifespan; however, death cannot destroy precious memories, and he shall live on forever in the hearts of his friends and loved ones. A service, remembering his life, will be held at the First Baptist Church of Windsor, S.C. on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Bobby Paschal officiating. The interment will follow at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
