Ella Walker Fulmer

FULMER-Mrs. Ella Walker Fulmer, age 90, of Warrenville, S.C., wife of the late W. O. Fulmer and daughter of the late Willard C. Walker and the late Latisha Thompson Walker, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, November 20, 2012. She is survived by her niece, Gail Fulmer (Sammy) Eubanks; nephews, Theodore L. (Linda) Walker, Jr., Thomas Lee (Barbara Ann) Walker and Wade Fulmer, Jr.; several cousins and several great nieces and nephews. She was born in Barnwell County, S.C. but has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. She was retired from Southern Railroad. She was a member of St. John United Methodist Church in Graniteville and the Graniteville Leisure Club. She was past Worthy Matron and received her 50 year pin as a member of the Eastern Star, which she enjoyed very much. She was a real precise person and could tell you where every penny went. She was a real roll model for any young person who was pursuing their career. She was very active in promoting various fund raisers to help out just any and everyone who needed assistance. She was an avid gardener and traveler, and she loved animals dearly; especially dogs, and would rescue every stray who crossed her path. She was also a very educated and unique person who could carry on an intelligent conversation with the best of them; and when she entered the room, you definitely knew that she was there. Yes, a sage has passed, and everyone mourns to loose such a fine lady and friend. A service celebrating her life will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Saturday, November 24th at 1:00 PM with Rev. Alan Quarles and Rev. Gene Wilson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. The interment will follow the service at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Graniteville, S.C.
