Eleanor Barton mcCarter

McCarter-Eleanor Barton McCarter, age 74, of Graniteville, S.C., daughter of the late Jessie Raymond and the late Savillah Green Barton, entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 9, 2015. She is survived by her cousin and caregiver, Suzanne West of Aiken, S.C.; an uncle, Lewis Ready of Graniteville, S.C. and a number of cousins. She was born in Augusta, Ga. She was of the Episcopal Faith. She graduated from Westminister Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey with a BS Degree in Music. She was a wonderful musician; a perfectionist who could play anything on the piano and organ and loved doing so. A service, celebrating her life, will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Doug Puckett officiating. The interment will follow at the Graniteville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice. The family would like to extend a "Heartfelt Thanks You" to Anchor Health and Rehab.Center for the wonderful care that they gave to their loved one during her illness.
