Effie Goff

GOFF-Entered into eternal rest on Monday, June 7, 2010, Mrs. Effie L. Hudson Goff, age 88, of Warrenville, S.C., wife of the late Sid Goff and daughter of the late Mack Hudson and the late Dora Wheeler Hudson. She is survived by daughters and son-in-law, Sarah and Cebie Williamson of Warrenville, S. C. and Eletha Dorsey and her husband, the late Freddie Dorsey of Swainsboro, Ga.; sons and daughters-in-law, Billy and Eloise Trull of Swainsboro, Ga., William “Toby” and Tyra Trull of North Augusta, S. C.., George “G.N” Trull of North Augusta, S. C. and Joe Emory Trull of Swainsboro, Ga.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Harvard and Betty Hudson of Swainsboro, Ga. and Talmadge and Joan Hudson of Warrenville, S.C.; twenty-three grandchildren, forty-three great grandchildren and twenty great great grandchildren; three very special friends; Janice Wilson, Lois Capello and Marie Vanderburgh and a special nephew, Laverne Hudson. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Janie Dorland; a grandson, Michael Dorland and a granddaughter, Patricia Trull. She was born in Emanuel County, Ga. but has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S. C. She was a dedicated member of South Aiken Church of God and next to God, her love for her family prevailed. Needless to say, she will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all whose lives she touched along the way; there is shouting on the Hills of Glory, because another child of God has made it home. A celebration of her life service will be held on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at 2:00 PM at South Aiken Church of God with Pastor Bruce Fox, Pastor William Moss and Pastor Kenny Murphy officiating. The interment will follow at Aiken Memorial Park. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends tonight, Tuesday, June 8th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at South Aiken Church of God.
