edward "Bo" Baughman

BAUGHMAN-Mr. Edward “Bo” Baughman, age 86, of Aiken, S.C., loving husband for 67 years to Irene Hancock Baughman and son of the late George Wesley Baughman and the late Ivoina Day Baughman, entered into eternal rest at his residence on Thursday, July 30, 2015. In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters, Ann (Raymond) Duffie and Lillie (Larvis) Franklin both of Aiken, S.C.; grandchildren, Steve Goss, Nikki Duffie Palmer and Telina Franklin Salley; great grandchildren, Stephanie Goss Hawkins, Ealan Miller, Campton Salley, Anna Palmer and Maggie Palmer; one great great grandson, Dexter Hawkins and several nieces and nephews. He was born in Edgefield County, S.C. and has been a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. Up to his failing health, he was a dedicated member of the Old Time Gospel Church in Eureka, S.C. His family stated that his hobbies including fishing, more fishing, hunting and spending time with his grandchildren. “Bo” as he was fondly known to his family and many friends, was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He never met a stranger and could carry on a conversation with just about anybody that would listen to him. He shall be greatly missed by his family and friends but there is a consolation in knowing that he has made that transition to his new Heavenly home in a land of endless tomorrows with no more pain or sorrow. Earth’s loss is truly Heaven’s gain. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Saturday evening, August 1st from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A graveside service, will be held at the Vaucluse Cemetery, Sunday, August 2, 2015 at 11:00 AM with Rev. John Huff officiating.
