Dorothy Elizabeth Brown

Dorothy Elizabeth Sineath Brown, age 87, entered into rest on March 30, 2024 at the NHC Healthcare North Augusta. A sincere thanks to the caregivers at NHC North Augusta and Caris Hospice Care.

She is survived by her daughter, Sylvia (Jimmy) Coleman of Bedford, TX; her son, Kenneth Wayne Woodyard of Aiken, SC; sisters, Joann Scott of La Mesa, CA and Barbara Jean Barton of Chula Vista, CA. She is also survived by several cousins, nephews and nieces.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William Joseph Sineath of Aiken County and Christabelle Carter of Chula Vista, CA.

In addition to her daughter and son, Dorothy loved her two fur babies: her chihuahua, Daisy, who crossed over to the rainbow bridge, but she found love again with her surviving yorkie, Rosie.

Dorothy retired from the Graniteville Company after 25 years of service. She was a lifelong resident of Aiken County. When her ex-husband was stationed in the military, she lived briefly in Germany and Japan. During her time in Japan, she adopted her daughter and son.

The family will receive guests in visitation on Thursday, April 11, 2024 from 4-6pm at Napier Funeral Home & Crematory, 315 Main Street, Graniteville, SC 29829. Dorothy was cremated and there will be no other service planned.
