Doris Hudson Gorannsky

GORANSKY-Mrs. Doris Hudson Goransky, age 84, of Trenton, S.C., wife of the late Vincent Goransky and daughter of the late Oscar and Mary Hudson, entered into eternal rest on Friday, October 17, 2014. She is survived by sons, Terrylle Goransky of Waynesboro, Ga., Michael Goransky and Steven Goransky both of Trenton, S.C.; a daughter, Mary Elizabeth Jones of Charleston, S.C.; a sister, Mildred Costa of Charleston, S.C.; two nephews, Dr. Louis Costa, II, Dr. Milton Costa and a niece, Sheri Belk who were like children to her; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was born in Glen Lyn, Virginia but has been a resident of South Carolina for the past fourteen years. The family stated that she was a generous, loving Christian mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She shall be greatly missed by her family and all whose lives she touched during the 84 years that God granted her on this earth; however, death cannot destroy precious memories, and she shall live on forever in the hearts of her loved ones. A memorial service, celebrating her life, will be held in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Monday, October 20, 2014 at 3:00 PM with Rev. Jon Nichols officiating. The interment will be private.
