Donney Holsenback Baker

Donney Holsenback Baker, age 76, of Aiken, S.C., daughter of Lula Boatwright Holsenback and the late Dewey E. Holsenback, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, May 17, 2018. In addition to her mother, she is survived by daughters, Leigh Huff and Janet Baker; grandchildren, Josh Baker, Matthew Baker, Alex Abear, Cliff Day, Mary Baker, Lessie Day and Emerald Baker and eight great grandchildren, including my Cayden baby. In addition to her Dad, she was preceded in death by a son, Greg Baker and a brother, Edward Holsenback. She was born in and a lifelong resident of Aiken County, S.C. She was a retired Vice President with a Mortgage Co. having served the Atlanta Area. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Graniteville. She was a loving daughter, mother, sister and grandmother. She was just a beautiful and caring person inside and out. She shall be greatly missed by her family and many friends. Death is not the end, as she shall live on forever in the lives of her loved ones. A service, celebrating her life, will be held at St. James Lutheran Church on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Barry T. Antley officiating. The Pallbearers will be Joshua Baker, Matt Baker, Alex Abear, Cliff Day, Brandon Britt and Nicholas Grover. The interment will be private.
