Donna Peterson Harris

Mrs. Donna Peterson Harris, 77, entered into rest on Wednesday June 19, 2024.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 44 years, John Henry Harris; and parents, Julius M. and Juanita D. Peterson.

She is survived by her sons, Kenny and his wife Candy Harris, Keith and his wife Susan Harris; foster son, Vinny and his wife Dana DeRemigio III; brothers, Rick and his wife Dianne Peterson and John Peterson; brother-in-law, Roger his wife Carol Harris; grandchildren, Justin and his wife Tiffany Harris, Cody and his wife Sarah Harris, Jacob Harris, Ashton DeRemigio, Chase Harris, Austin DeRemigio, Nicholas Harris; great granddaughters, Mackenzie Harris and Hailey Harris; and lifelong friends, Judy Beard Hall, and Brenda Waller Wilson.

Donna was a lifelong resident of Aiken County, member of Clearwater First Baptist Church. She graduated from LBC in 1965 and retired from a career in education. She served in many positions during her life, she was the former Chairman of the Downer Fund Trustee, former Registrar of General UDC Charter, Charter member Berry Benson UDC, and Registrar of the Daughters of the American Revolution Martintown Road Chapter. More than anything she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.

A Funeral Service, celebrating her life will be held at the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home on Monday June 24, 2024 at 1 P.M. with Rev. Earl Carter officiating. The burial will follow immediately at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be, Justin Harris, Cody Harris, Chase Harris, Jacob Harris, Austin DeRemigio, and Nicholas Harris.
