WILLIAMS-Donald R. Williams, age 70, of Graniteville, S.C., entered into rest peacefully on Sunday, July 2, 2017, surrounded by all of his close family members. Born in and a lifelong resident of Aiken County, he was the son of the late Jack and Elnora Williams. During his working years, he worked at the Graniteville Company and Plant Erquhart (SCE&G) in Beech Island, S.C. Donald was a member of St. John United Methodist Church in Graniteville, S.C. He was an avid Clemson fan and enjoyed stock car racing. Watching his favorite old TV shows on cable TV was a daily past time for him in his later years. Traveling to Las Vegas and Atlantic City, NJ fulfilled his remaining interest. He is survived by a son, Scottie Williams and two Grandchildren, Jeremy Crocker and Bailey Crocker of Augusta, Ga.; a brother, Rodney (Laura) Williams of North Augusta, S.C. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at St. John United Methodist, 18 Gregg St., Graniteville, S.C. at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, July 5, 2017. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service (11:00 AM) in the Church Sanctuary. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John United Methodist Church, Graniteville, S.C. or to a charity of one’s choice.
