Mr. Donald C. Arthur, age 76, beloved husband of 37 years to Mrs. Betty Faye Sheffield Arthur, entered into eternal rest on Thursday December 28th, 2017. In addition to his wife, he is survived by son, Donald Eric Arthur (Rhonda), Van Fields (Tammy), Duwayne “Wayne” Fields; brothers, Theodore and Tony Arthur; sisters, Eleanor Harkins, Francis Cote; grandchildren, Meagan Erwin, Ashley Gross, Myah Arthur, Kaci Fields and one great grandchild expected to arrive in March. He is preceded in death by his parents, Chester O’neal and Verna Wooten Arthur; brother, Jimmy Arthur; and sister Katherine Grice. He will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched in the 76 precious years that God granted him on this earth. A funeral service celebrating his life will be conducted on Tuesday January 2nd, 2018, at 11 o'clock am, at the Millbrook Baptist Church Chapel, with the Rev. Donald Pope and Rev. Phillip Dunn Officiating. The interment will immediately follow at the Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10am until the time of the service at the church chapel. Pallbearers include: Van, Tommy, Paul and Josh Fields. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Houston Brown Sunday School Class of Millbrook Baptist Church.
