Don Martin Melton

He is survived by his children, Nathan (Angela) Melton, Brandye Parker; sister, Lynn (James) Marshall, Julie (Darren) Taylor; and grandchildren, Rebecca-Ann, Natalie-Ann, Ransom, Rylee, Maya and Cade.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Pennington Melton; and parents, Lenwood and Edith Drakeford Melton.

Mr. Melton was retired from the Savannah River Site as a Maintenance Supervisor and was a member of several notable clubs such as: The Belvedere Masonic Lodge # 388, The York and The Scottish Rites, Jamil Shrine Center, Aiken County Shrine Club and the Kerbela Shrine Center of Knoxville, Tn and many units within the Shrine. He will be dearly missed by all whose lives he touched.

A funeral service honoring his life will be held on Monday October 10, 2022 at 3pm in the Chapel of Napier Funeral Home with Rev. Gene Wilson officiating. The interment will immediately follow at the Historic Graniteville Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be: Drake Bazemore, Ethan Taylor, Casey Grice, Cole Grice, Todd Bishop and Jeff Kneece.
