Diana "Diane" Goodwin Gunter

Ms. Diana “Diane” Goodwin Gunter, age 74, entered into rest on Sunday August 8, 2021 at Aiken Regional Medical Center.

She is survived by her daughter Casey (Ashley) Barton; father and step mother, Charles & Dorothy “Dot” Goodwin; grandboys, Silas and Sutton Barton; granddaughters, Nicole and Macy Goodwin; and brother, Chuck Goodwin.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Beona Brewer Goodwin; and brother, Joseph Goodwin.
Diane was a fun and exciting character. She was a joy to be around and always had you laughing. She worked in administration for the Graniteville Company and after retirement, worked as the secretary for the Graniteville Cemetery Association. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all whose lives she touched.
A funeral service celebrating her life will be held on Wednesday August 11, 2021 at Christian Heritage Church in Graniteville at 3pm with Pastor Jody Padgett officiating. The interment will follow at the Historic Graniteville Cemetery. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the church.
Pallbearers will be: Joe Taylor, TJ Ferrer, Wayne Hicks, Joel Randall, Stevan Smith. Thomas Barton will serve as an Honorary pallbearer.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Graniteville Cemetery Association.
